One of Apple’s network carrier partners slipped tongue on this news in an investor day event of the week in Japan. The new law of Japan will require the wireless network carriers unbundle their plans with devices from October 1st, 2019. Because the carriers charge higher rates on the bundled services with popular smartphones which is a rip-off of a customer.
Responding to the above situation, SoftBank’s executive has said this:
Honestly, I am wondering what should I do for 10 days. No, I shouldn’t say that. Anyway, I don’t know when the new iPhone will be released. However, after about 10 days, it will be unbundled.
He slipped his tongue giving a crucial leak about the launch date on Apple’s next big thing. Doing the math from October 1st, 2019 backward, it settles on September 20th. So, that could be it. The launch date leak of iPhone XI will create a ripple in the other smartphone manufacturers with no doubt.
