Micromax has launched its first smartphone powered by Cyanogen Mod operating system with YU brand, ‘Micromax Yureka’ in India with the price tag of Rs.8,999. This handset is available on Amazon and the first booked will get the back cover worth Rs.999.
Micromax took a good leap by choosing the Cyanogen Mod operating system for their new flick ‘Yureka’. Cyanogen being the customized version of Android OS is loved by savvy’s all over the world. Its customizable capability, enhanced features, custom UI elements are the reason for its popularity.
Yureka, being the dual SIM handset supports 4G network along with another 3G SIM slot. A 4G phone at such budget range is an appreciable effort by Micromax. This phone comes with customizable boot loader and the warranty will be valid even if it is rooted. Micromax promises door-to-door repair and replacement services with this device.
Micromax YU Yureka features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 Cortex A-53 64 bit Octacore processor with clock speed of 1.5GHz and 2GB supportive RAM. It comes with very good combo of 16GB internal memory and ability to expand it with SD card. It is powered with 13MP rear camera that comes with Sony’s EXMOR sensor and focus aperture of f/2.2 with a blue filter. Amazingly the front camera of 5MP adds sparks to the surprise. Also, Yureka has powerful 2500 mAh battery that can withstand your wrath of usage of a smartphone.
