‘Let Me Hear Again’ will help you hear and speak truly again

This article is intended to help dumb and deaf people who are finding trouble conversing with every other ‘sign’ language illiterate. ‘Let Me Hear’ Again’ is an android application that was developed to help dumb and deaf to speak with people around them easily and normally.

The one and only one motive for all this technological advancement is to ease the human efforts and disable the disabilities. Hearing aids, spectacles, artificial organs are all the little examples of technological advancements that we have seen so far.

Are smartphones a part of the true technological advancement? Yes they are! You might not be able to speak and hear, yet you can talk to your friends online and on phone who don’t know your sign language.

You may not need to wait for your friend write a reply to you. ‘Let Me Hear Again’ will let you truly hear what your friends are saying directly.

What is ‘Let Me Hear Again’?

‘Let Me Hear Again’ is a project started by young doctor from Kerala, India aimed to provide free technological innovation for all the deaf around the globe through smartphones.

It is a free application and it will serve no ads, you no need to subscribe to anything and there are no hidden charges. You can fund this project by buying the PRO version for just Rs.50/-

This app is currently available in Google Play for free. You can simply download and install it on your smartphone and start voice and video chatting with your friends now.

How this works?

After installing the application, run it.

You’d see the instructions during startup, take a look at them before you begin.

When it starts up, it will show you the following screen,

Listen(F2F) chatting featuring 

This feature will help you by transcribing your friend’s actual words into text, so that he don’t need to type-in what he wants to say.

Click on the TalkBack button and enter your text as a reply to him, it will be voiced out at his side.

This application can recognize 71 worldly languages and can convert them into text for your convenience.

This app can translate the text into 41 different languages instantaneously.

Call Companion

This is another useful feature that helps you by transcribing voice calls into text automatically. The call companion may not work again as it is hard to put all the words into text accurately. However, it is possible if your friends know that you are using this ‘Let Me Hear Again’ application.

You can talk back just like you can do while doing a face to face chat.

Other Misc Features

It also have useful features like Quake Awake that can ring loud with 100DB along with vibration,

Another miscellaneous features is Virtual Notes that will help you understand what your professor is teaching you in the class.

The virtual notes features will also tag a date and time stamp along with it and saves it permanently on your handset.

You can translate the notes taken in one language into 41 foreign languages.

Guardian Angel  is another wonderful feature in this app that was inspired by a true story. Letting this app run in the background will keep track of loud sounds near by you and alerts you by crying out loud and vibrating.
