Latest news from CES-2013 is about the “World’s largest-capacity USB 3.0 Flash drive”. Kingston Digital Europe Ltd, an affiliate of Kingston Technology Company Inc., the independent world leader in memory products has announced their pocket size 1TB flash drive named “The HyperX Predator”. It is the biggest storage option for a flash USB drive from Kingston.
Kingston Package
It is the fastest USB 3.0 Flash drive in the Kingston family, with speeds of up to 240MB/s read and 160MB/s write. The 1TB version will be available before March, the company has promised.
Compatibility
DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0 is compliant with next-generation USB 3.0 specifications and is optimized for newer PCs with USB 3.0 ports. The HyperX Predator is compatible with devices running Windows 8, Windows 7 with SP1, Windows Vista with SP1 or SP2, Windows XP with SP3, Mac OS X 10.6 or higher, and Linux 2.6 or higher. The Kingston HyperX Predator 1TB USB 3.0 Flash Drive uses the exFAT (Extended File Allocation Table) Microsoft file system that is optimized for flash drives.
Beneficiaries
Video editors who work with large video or graphics files, or movie freaks and music freaks who like to travel with their entire collection will appreciate the drive’s speed and capacity. Outer Casing is made of zinc alloy metal for superior quality. It is shock resistant and the design is high-end one. DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0 ships with a custom Kingston key ring and a HyperX valet keychain. It is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 for efficient data transfer rates.
