How To Create A New Blog? | Blogger Basics

Blogger is one of the products of Google family. It was just used by celebs at the time it was born. Later, when Google publisher program, AdSense was associated, even normal people started blogging not just as a passion but also to earn some bucks online. Thus blogger became very popular and everyone desperately wanted to learn it. As we have seen people asking us to teach how to blog, we thought of starting from the beginning so that every starter can learn it in a easy way. We would like to start with 'creating a new blog'

Lesson 1: How to create a new blog?

This very first article will teach you how to create a new blog in blogger platform. Following this one, a few article will also be posted teaching the full basic terminology of blogger and blogging. Let's start with Lesson 1 now.

Requirements to create a new blog

You need to require the following things to create a new blog in blogger.

1. A full authenticated Google account.
2. Basic knowledge of computers and internet

Creating a blog in blogger

1. Open your browser and type Blogger.com in the address bar and hit 'Enter'.
2. As this is your first with blogger.com, it will ask you to set up your blogger profile from Google account. Simple click on 'Okay' button if asked.
3. Click on 'New Blog' button on the left pane of your blogger account. 
4. Now, it would ask you to enter your blog's 'Title' ('Example blog' in our video demo case).
5. Also enter URL of your blog. Generally the URL would be like www.YourBlogURL.blogspot.com. Remember that the blog's URL is unique, so it checks if the URL you have chosen is available or not.
6. Once URL is chosen successfully, Select a 'Template' from the per-existed templates and click on 'Create a blog' button. This will take a couple of seconds to create your new blog.
7. When it's done, you will be taken to your newly created blog's 'Control Panel'.
